Very nice, thanks for sharing. 16G ram, cool. I stick with 8G, but CL8 :) No GFX card yet? Lazy delivery!  I ordered the mainboard on Friday (about  17h) and get deliverd it Saturday 10am :) Beat that :)))
(I waited for plain Asus Z97-Pro since 25.11.2015, so I give up... and bite the WiFi bullet - it can be disabled, so... whatever)

I would do similar build, but I will:

- use eVGA 850W PSU and let it get air from bottom (I will install higher case "legs" to get good airflow)
- use simlar Asus Z97-PRO (WiFi ac) mainboard
- use aircooling (Phanteks PH-TC14PE)
- use Phanteks Enthoo Pro white case (need modifications)
- change the MSI GTX 960 Gaming 4G cooling to Raijintek Morpheus (that require probably slight mods AND support, as the card it heavy as it is, added weight could break something... and poor PCIE slot...!)

Work in progress there: http://forums.realhardwarereviews.com/help-wanted/suggestions-for-mid-power-quiet-gaming-pc/

Yeah I tried to put PSU to get air from bottom, but for some reason the mounting holes did not line up. So put it the way it is.

For games, anything from WOT, Armored warfare, BF4, CoH2, Rebel Galaxy, Fallout 4, and more..

Thanks for the comments.
Next I'm thinking of new monitor.

WoT is great, yet too time consupting. However even on 8G the loading of the next level is "so bloody*ucking faaaaast" I have to chat with my friend over VoIP to waste the 1min of time I have before each level :)

Dunno, what BF4 will run, BF3 was working nicely for me on much slower build...  and when things are not the way I want them, I modify them :) I feel that is imperative my PSU do not compete for air with my GPU cooler.
But if you go with MSI GFX card, then it look like that they did not need to even spin the fans, lol.

Yea WOT does take a lot of time specially if your in tourny, skirms and clan wars.
BF4 ran great with my HIS R9 280x 3gb ddr5, will see how the new one does.

I think going to try and switch the PSU making fan suck air from bottom.

This just came in today, My early Christmas gift.

Congratulations :) Finally you have your early xmass there. We see, how the MSI R9 380 4GD5T OC will run for you. I bet it will run pretty well. Do AMD have some sort of GPU-aided encoding of the video? I just wonder... because it works pretty well on nVidia - except, of course, my card as only a 128bit bus, witch suxx.

What are the temps and noise...? And average FPS? :) Good thing that BF4 can run on Mantle, not on restricting DX, so you should enjoy nice FPS, right? Mainly with more cores... what CPU are you plan on using anyway?

Yea I am happy. I hope it will. My HIS R9 280x runs great so I hope this does as good or better. I have not yet finished the build, still have few more things to do. Plus with Christmas coming have to make sure my kids gifts get wrapped..

You have a 960GTX ,I had one ran BF4 great and yea 128bit bus sucks. Reason I sold it.
Oh! I add what CPU I am using i5 4670K

Well tonight I swapped out my i5 4670K for a i7 4770k. Both are OCed to 4.2GHz.
As well replaced  the CM stock fans on the Nepton 280L and with Noctua 140mm fans. They are way more quiet. :)

But I did notice the 4770K runs warmer then my 4670K.
So far 4770K is 40C no load  where 4670K was 29C no load.
hmmm maybe my thermal paste not doing its job, and yes I did put fresh paste on the cpu.. :)
Might have to get new thermal paste.
