Smart watches
« on: December 08, 2015, 05:32:25 PM »
Who else loves their smart watches? I picked up a moto 360 a couple weeks ago and I love it, I'd like if it had an always on screen though. Looking at getting an Huawei watch soon to replace it :)

+1 :)

I thought (like everyone else) that it was a gimmick but my watch broke and decided to try one, but after buying the original Pebble, I'm now rocking a Steel Pebble so that answers your question of whether I love it or not :D

Notifications on my wrist
I can read my text messages / emails and see who's calling
I only have to look at my watch to realize it's Monday :( and that it's 3 Degrees today :D

Never going back!

I really liked my pebble, but it wouldn't hold a solid bluetooth connection with my phone anymore :( tried multiple phones and different roms, so now I use it as an alarm! (the moto 360s vibration is WEAK in comparison). And I'm pretty sure it's Tuesday :P

My watch has a slide rule, and a solar panel to charge the battery.
That is pretty smart... right? It does math and I do not have to charge it as if I were some sort of sucker.   ;)

For the moto 360, about 10 hours. For the pebble I'd get about 2 days out of it

Hahaha I guess it was Tuesday :P

Yeah I recently started noticing that! On my Q10, never had any problems. On the S6, it disconnects and I didn't realize that till you said it lol

The pebble will last a week if you don't have a fitness app running as that is what sucks the battery

Honestly I do love my Moto 360, got it this summer and use it probably ever day. Hands free calling or text responses as well as using navigation or starting my music as my bluetooth setup isn't the most ideal.

As for when I'm just walking around or at my desk, no more checking for phantom vibrations and while rollerblading I can skip songs using my watch rather than digging out my phone.

Most smartwatches should already have the hardware for that, just need an app!
For every fap a certain amount of money is donated to support women's shelters or something. But the counter would stop if it is too near another bluetooth device like a computer, phone, smart TV, etc. That way it is trying to not directly supporting the porn industry. :P

RHR could start it all!  ;)

Also:
I had no idea it existed, but this might be useful if it worked when someone was jogging. http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/pornhubs-hands-smartwatch-gives-wrist-action-new-purpose-1490071
They should bring that to market!
