Since the release of windows 8, movie maker has been just horrible to use. Crashes glitches and what not. So I went back to premier for even 5 min going videos, but Microsoft fixed movie maker in 8.1 now I can make for fun videos with zero effort again :)

Still can't believe they fixed it haha.

Think it's with amd drivers too. I noticed I was idling on the desktop using 7 gb of memory the other night after I closed bf4. It could be bf4 too I guess

I'm still using Windows 7 as all the steam games I have (Mostly Early Access) might have a conflict with Windows 8.

Good to hear that they fixed Movie Maker

After Effects and Premium Pro ftw!

At some point this was fixed, must have been a microsoft issue as I never updated the drivers and it's gone.

Maybe it was a mistake. Maybe they tried to remove some functionality and it just happened to fix this issue.

I don't know, but I'm not complaining about it anymore,  it was a very stupid memory leak bug...
