Everything Hardware / Warning 960 pro firmware 3B6QCXP7 might be a problem.

Just a warning to Samsung 960 Pro users. A recent firmware update seems to be causing some issue with more than just a handful of users. https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/...-id/873/page/1
You may want to delay any FW updates until this is ironed out.

Used the gigabyte method someone mentioned in your post and damn son why you put in so much work when that method was instant and easy :D it preinstalled the usb drivers before the install screen so it went damn smoothly. was shocked how well it went, to be honest.

Todays rant: Banks and people who work at them that say the line "They should not need this" or "I know they said it is required but really it is not" you're all garbage people and I hope you get aids... that is all ps not just aids SUPER aids that kind drugs do nothing to help :P

Finally done all the paperwork for my house and found out the bank did not stamp something I told them was required but the lady said it was not at the bank (how lazy can someone be where they refuse to stamp something) and that made it so I could not use my main account for my mortgage so every 2 weeks I need to move money around... so dumb

It's a good skill to have for benching. My Win7 now installs on current AMD and Intel with USB/ Xhci and NVMe support.

I ran across this parody the other day and thought it was hilarious. Based off the song by Gotye Somebody that I used to Know. Very well done if you've seen the original video you'll know what I mean.

Indeed, the rewards for getting XP to work on Skylake or newer are great.

Barbonenet offers probably the best way towards getting it to work, optimized for SPi32...

Yeah - XP on Skylake or newer ain't no picnic!

It works, just a bit of a PITA. Took me about 4-8 hours the first time to get a working install. There's a guide at HWBot but there was still a lot of trial and error and finding good XP media to start with was iffy. All my stripped versions wouldn't work. Eventually just downloaded the full version and went from there

EDIT: It is worth it if you're competing. That time at 5.2 in XP would be 5.4-5.5GHz in Win7

Nice write up souless21. Never been a fan of mechanical. Have considered trying one again but the noise and feel just throw me off and I spend a lot of time typing.

Guest and Other Site Reviews / MSI GTX 1070 Ti Titanium review
« on: November 03, 2017, 07:24:01 AM »

MSIís version built around its ďGamingĒ PCB brings more to the table than your average GPU. A nice beefy 10 phase power delivery system built with Military Class components for durability and cooled by MSIís TwinFrozr VI cooling system. Pair that with MSIís AfterBurner software and you have a nice overclocking experience that wonít leave you disappointed. With the lower base clocks, it makes the overclocking potential much more impressive.

Here's a link to the new Nvidia 1070 Ti review

Sure soluless any questions just fire away. What system are you going to try XP on? The newer z1-2-370 need special attention to get it to install thanks to MS and Intel
