Bitcoin/Litecoin/Folding / How do I power a 10 to 13 GPU mining rig?
« Last post by ImmyFTW on September 04, 2017, 09:27:06 PM »
Hey everyone! Im planning on building a rig with 10 to 13 GTX 1070's, but I am not sure what kind or how many PSU's to use to prevent a fire hazard. I do plan on overclocking too.

Any insights would be great, thanks!

What video cards would be good to mine, but not expensive to buy?

Need some info from you first. Is your power cheap or free?
What kind and wattage psus you got?

If power is cheap and you got the power I like 280x 7970s 290 290x 390 390x as they all pop up on the cheap

If your power is not cheap and you lack the wattage I like the 1050 ti and 1060 6gb

Beer and Wine / Calgary Barley Belt Tap Tour Damn Good Use of $25
« Last post by Soullessone21 on August 30, 2017, 01:35:12 PM »
This last weekend LPfan4Ever and I hit up the Barley Belt Tap Tour, was shockingly good.

If they run another one I will post it up here.

The event provides transport and a free beer at multiple breweries.

If you're looking for an awesome reason to enjoy drinking multiple beers this is a great way to do it.

Thanks for the review. I will have to give it an in depth read later. I used to recommend the bx100 as a budget drive, however the bx200 missed the mark IMO. Looks like the bx300 may be back up for my recommend.

That's hilarious my SSD in my editing rig is a bx100 as the price was super reasonable and just works.

I had great luck finding good prices on the mx300 for some time so looking forward to seeing the BX300 up for sale on the cheap

thanks for the reads and comment :)

Crucial BX300: Not your typical budget SSD

When you mix great NAND with a good controller and then only charge the same prices as the last generation the end result in one incredible value.
Crucial really out did themselves here.
