Cleaning Chocolate Drink on My Keyboard

Recommended Posts

I don't if my HP Pav will still work as I haven't turned it on yet but looking at the keyboard it seems like space, alt, windows, fn, ctrl, c, v, and b is hard is to press compared before. The rest of the other keys looks fine.

Send us the model I'll get you a guide to remove the keyboard. I would use isopropyl alcohol 99 on it removed from the laptop and remove the battery if you can.

If the battery is removable you can pop the keyboard and clean under it with a super soft toothbrush and alcohol and it may still be ok.

Hope that helps

Ugh.  I gave that a shot after a beer ruined my 10 key...not great results...Well I guess I did get a major upgrade on my new keyboard 🙂

which model keyboard, I have done this repair a few times when I worked at a repair shop, isopropyl 99 and lots of time, also some distilled water and a nice warm room for 24 hours after cleaning
