This looks cool, lol. THERE monitors, wow.

The LianLi test bench is looking interesting... but do you have enough space for your legs? Especially now, when one of them need proper cooling...

Shockingly there is lots of room at my desk :) I sat there for hours before the wife and kids moved here playing games with zero issues.

The rig is getting a massive overhaul shortly and after Xmas all custom built case

Real Hardware Reviews / Re: Nexus 5 Review
« on: December 11, 2013, 02:23:59 PM »
Show of the Nexus 5 phone usage is pretty convincing, as that the phone does not feel slow in any way when using. Definitively it run convincingly smoothly - and it even hears by the "google" name, lol. Now that it is tied up to the Google services - this is expectable. Google sure want to push own services over anything else and so far, it do a good job (remember Apple maps?), so unless someone is worried that Google is starting to know too much about us (control our search, then email, then videos, then phone...), then it is probably a great buy  ;)

Thanks ChrisK for a nice review!

Chrisk you reviewed the Nexus 5 as well??? or is he confused, if you did link me :)

Considering that this is cheapest of the 770 card... how much the SLI bridge cost anyway? It should not be that much... looked and 3 way cost 12:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0080VA9E8/ref=asc_df_B0080VA9E82790530?ie=UTF8&condition=new&tag=pgmp-391-01-20&creative=395169&creativeASIN=B0080VA9E8&linkCode=asm

...2 card one 20:

Probably there could be even cheaper alternatives (eBay seen under 8) ... and as John mentioned, the PNY is usually 10 bucks bellow other cards, so maybe this is the little setback there for the SLI users? It is probably concluded, that the SLI users are minority, that need to buy own SLI adapter when they are going by this path.

Thats a great point Trodas, they did have to cut some corners some where to keep the cost low but what amazed me was the card can OC well and runs very cold in SLI.

PS I will reply to your PM soon been so busy with many things :)

The Pny GTX770 is an amazing card even with stock clocks but is it a true contender, only time will tell.

Damon from Just south of Edmonton off Hwy 2A in a sleepy town called Millet.

Been building for well over a decade and have a pretty serious case of hardware addiction. Hoping to have more time over the winter to finish a few rigs and support a growing forum with any help I can bring. Also a big fan of Souls with a few small favors he has done me over the past few years. Helluva guy and happy to see him branch out with some other great guys.

Happy to have you here turtletrax and welcome. I am truly blessed with the team here and the following already. Such a awesome group of people. And always happy to help anyone who needs the help :)

Water Cooled / Re: Acrylic Tubes for Watercooling
« on: December 07, 2013, 07:32:46 AM »
I have an Aquaero 5 Pro w PWM DDC3.2 and the flow meter is a differential pressure measurement flow meter. It is the lowest restriction model of meter I know of. I have a bunch of alarms the will alert/ or kill the machine in any emergency situation. Just want to explore the Aquasuite features a little more as there is tons of neat stuff to do. Any ways, decided to pass on it for the time being and focus on my luminous panel and tubing for the time being. Found someone semi local to etch my plexi for the panel, so pretty excited to get that done. Then I can get precise measurements for my tube bends.  Then just to find the perfect colour of fluid :)

Will shoot lots of photos of the progress if you guys are interested in my journey.

Damon.

P.S.- Probably wont need 10 meters of tube unless I suck far more at bending than I think I am going to be. So will have some E22 10mm kicking around. If anyone is interested in buying some, LMK.

Sounds like a awesome build I am actually in the market for some acrylic tube I'll pm you when I get out of bed haha
