This will hopefully be one of many tournaments to come and not just in SC2. This tournament will be streamed live on Twitch the day of the tournament as well as with any future tournaments so that you can get your friends to watch you play and cheer you on.

Round of 8                     3                 Star Station TE

Round of 2                     5             Derelict Watcher TE

In bo3 or higher matches, loser picks the next map and players are allowed to veto one map per matchup.

The Rules:
  • Players have 15 minutes after tournament start to be signed in and start their match, past that you will be disqualified and your opponent will advance.
  • All players must have played their placement matches this season and their previous season (Season 5) can be no higher than Gold league.
  • No observers in any matches unless it is and admin/caster if we ask to stream your game.
  • Pauses are allowed but need to be reasonable length. You may be disqualified if paused for too long.
  • If a player drops from a game, the match will be replayed from "resume from replay" (would be best to set Match Privacy to No Match Details for this reason).
  • If you advance you will have 10 minutes after your next opponent is determined to be available to start a match, if not you may get disqualified by an admin.
  • You must play your race of choice throughout the whole tournament
  • BM or trolling may get you disqualified - be nice!
  • If there is an issue with a game it will be reviewed by an admin - save replays.

Awww I wanted to be a commentator for this.... I would be ever so annoying :)

Not bad play. Looks like the Driftor was right, that in COD it took many times less bullets to kill an enemy, that in Battlefield.

So the BF fans hated him for suggesting that BF is, in fact, closer to reality that COD...

As for quality, I use VirtualDub and encode at 960x720 pixels (5:4 input size) with bitrate around 3000 and Xvid... Works pretty good, just check there: vv ;)

oh I miss the days of fun FPS, the days before instant bans and one shot kills and Koreans 12 year olds that can headshot me from across the map haha.

great videos guys

Everything Off Topic / Re: Pitbulls
« on: November 21, 2013, 07:40:17 AM »
Figured John would like this story.

That's awesome and I read that before :),

The story of the black lab named reggie/tank was awesome to.

I rescue dogs so that they never have to suffer again and what people don't know that the media likes to try to make you think the opposite, Cops love Pitbulls.
Every cop I have met in this fine City loves them, owns them, trains them and goes to work with them. My poor Reggie pup(RIP) was loved by the cops and security guards who lived beside us.
They would even beg to walk him and spend time with him. They know the media likes to make them seem like monsters when its really the owners.

I have now owned two forever pitbulls that were massively abused and both of them love and respect our family like they came to us as puppies and never show their past horrifying lives.

Just like how my dog sleep the general opinion of these fine dogs is right upside down from what it should be

Everything Software(Non Games) / List of issues windows 8.1 gives?
« on: November 21, 2013, 07:15:00 AM »
Many people complained all over other forums that windows 8.1 borked their computer.

So I want to hear from those who have had issues with it and if they were able to fix said issues and from those who just gave up or had no problems and are rocking the 8.1

I have multiple computers and work to much so I sadly have not had time to hit up the upgrade yet but plan to on my laptop this weekend, is there anything I should expect?

Custom / BTX Custom cases
« on: November 21, 2013, 06:58:42 AM »
Well odd one, I have a ton of BTX OEM motherboards ranging from 775(DDR3)-1155 and 1336, I want to know if any company makes cases that take BTX and are not half sized.

I want to make some full sized rigs to donate to people in need but the small form factor limits me and the fact the cheap dell/HP cases just dont have the flair a nice standard looking case would.

Plus I want to build gaming rigs to give to people who otherwise could not afford them and this would be a great way to make some basic ones.

Servers / 771 to 775 conversion
« on: November 20, 2013, 08:05:56 AM »
So I have some Xeon 771 Cpu's kicking around all quad cores all bored out of their minds.
I also have a massive amount of 775 motherboards(Dell/HP/Acer) you know the throw away ones but they all are DDR3 and some even are itx.

So I'm going to order the small conversion stickers and start this project I will record the whole build and testing and if its goes up in smoke no big deal they were not being used anyways:)

So over the next bit I will have some fun with this mini project and if they do work I will water cool them and make some custom rigs

Real Hardware Reviews / Re: Nexus 5 Unboxing
« on: November 18, 2013, 01:51:36 PM »
Looks like the price will be the major selling point there:
Google Nexus 5 starting at $499.99 on eBay:
iPhone 5S is about $899 (only 5C version dips to $589):
Samsung Galaxy S4 is sround $500-700, some offers are as low as $134:

...with mean that this is probably locked to some provider plan and therefore subsidized. But I have no idea about it and someone should shred some light at these practices.

BTW, if the OS is clean, simple, small and light, then it is no wonder that it outperform others :)

Its no plan required and not locked to a carrier, the Nexus 7 is right from my belly of the beast Google themselves and 349-399 if you want 16gb or 32gb.

It's OS is bloatware free and 100% Google only

I have heard the same thing about even larger titles like call of duty or even bf4 on release.

Its a sad world we live in look at my favorite game of all time if it was not for such a passion to play fallout 3 I would of walked away after the first 100 crashes.
