@LPfan4ever:

In the past 3 days on the Acura EL I have: - Swapped the blower motor from my Civic - Tore apart the interior, including centre console and dash, to install a cabin air filter that these never came with for some reason - Installed my new stereo, including soldering the wiring harnesses together - Ran my dash cam's permanent wiring through the dash/A-pillar - Installed new spark plugs - Moved the spark plug wires from my Civic - Pulled the bumper and passenger headlight to straighten out the bent headlight support (Previous owner hit a kid on a bike with it ) - Flushed coolant - Changed oil and filter - Gave her a good wand wash

I have a bunch of light bulbs and a fuel filter coming from Rock Auto, as well as needing to install the speakers I pulled from my Civic. It's been a fuckton of work but she runs pretty damn nice now for a 98.

Beer time.

Nice work. On a 98 I would also think about transmission fluid/brake fluid when you get the time (unless you know when they were swapped). How are all the brake/fuel lines holding up underneath the car? That was what went first on one of my cars with age and salted roads.

I agree with this. My company bought a new work truck 3 months ago, an 02. Well 2 weeks ago we lost all brakes while crossing the alex fraser bridge (worst bridge in the gvrd in rush hour). Blew a brake line, that was not a fun experience.

Yearly review went quite well, got what I'm told is one of the higher raises being handed out this year. My manager also mentioned he was going to put my name in to get a promotion, though won't hear if I get that for months thanks to how many levels above him it has to go

Makeshift slide hammer bead breaker worked super well on a stubborn bead!The threads of the allthread did mar my rim a bit though, most people would want to put a smaller pipe around the lower section to cover the threads. I on the other hand do not really care because this particular rim has been bent and unbent several times. It is FUBAR and I took the tire off this time to clean out the sealing goo that did not work, before installing an inner tube.I am not replacing the rim because the tire is also mostly demolished and this stuff is pretty spendy.

I have the Savage Mark II BTVS, which is pretty similar in .22LR. Just has a fancy ass thumb stock instead of the standard stock. You should get a Nova! Imagine you're playing CSGO! http://www.cabelas.ca/product/289/benelli-nova-3-12-12-gauge-pump-action-shotguns

On another note, Wholesale Sports down in Deerfoot meadows is closing and clearing out their stock. Might be worth taking a look there if you have your PAL already.

Congrats on the new home, yes packing and moving so much fun NOT..

Yea I agree the .17HMR is great round. Fun.

Thanks really looking forward to the move being done and never having to deal with a landlord again,

Laughing my ass off, Tell my boss there is an issue with the ticketing system at work and that some kinds or tickets do not send emails to the clients when we reply to them, he argues that it is not possible if one type works they all work. So he goes into the logs and BAM!!!! a bigger issue than what I stated. so now he is losing it on the Dev team. Also got an apology it was more like a Rick from Rick and Morty apology but I'll take it haha

Plus by wife turns 30 today, no longer am I the only old one in the house :P

    • Rest assured that no matter if you choose a mainstream Core i5, a high-end Core i7, or the enthusiast Core i9 that you will be getting a very good to excellent processor. All three offer a lot of performance without all that much upfront cost. It just is those who want to get the best, most optimal, option for their needs should put more time, thought, and effort into their decision. So do your homework. Think about what you actually do with your system. Then come to your own conclusions. Not what anyone, including us, tell you what you should be buying. Doing otherwise may result in a rather major disservice to yourself and your next system.   Read the full review below: https://www.realhardwarereviews.com/intel-core-i7-10700k-core-i5-10600k-review/
    • In summary, if you are looking for a good deal, do not need it to be ‘the fastest’ PCIe 3.0 drive going, and do not plan on hammering it with more than 50% of the free capacity at one time, the Silicon Power UD70 2TB is a good option at a great price. Just understand the target demographics it was built for and the compromises required to hit its low asking price before you track one down.   Read the full review below:  https://www.realhardwarereviews.com/silicon-power-ud70-2tb-review/

    • Thank you! I'm looking through that thread now. It looks like I'll be dropping by Best Buy on my way home tonight to have a look at what they have! They have 10TBs in stock, so maybe I'll grab a couple!
    • I PMed you a link to the my source for this, a very popular Canadian deals (non-tech) forum. There are no guarantees you'll get the one you're looking for, but the accumulated intelligence is rather compelling, especially with returns allowed for unopened drives until January 16th, 2021. As those reports stand now, and discounting any shills:
