Show off your Gaming Rig!!!! (Pictures!)

At first it did not look like a much (first photo), but the combination of black/green inside is very nice and the build is clean as well, so… nice  😉 I hope I can match it up with my build, except my hardware won't be as good, of course.

Thanks! 🙂 The only thing it still needed was sleeving but my friend didn't want to wait … (or pay the extra cost 😛 )

Thanks! It's the third time someone has requested a pc like that

Oh you build PC's for customers? How much do you charge and is it a good gig? I see people selling custom PC's on ebay but I could build better for cheaper imo.

I'm the cheapest out there and that can be proved by my history, custom machines cost more only because they require more work, but for example, that H440 was $1250 and had a haswell i5 - 256GB SSD - 6TB Drive (yes, one drive) - liquid cooled - 650W Gold rated semi modular - 16GB ram and a 780Ti (with the lights and custom paint) 🙂

PM me your budget and I'll give you the specs (or if you have a build in mind on eBay for example, give me the link and I'll let you know what I can do).

Here's a liquid cooled machine that I built to enter a gaming event last year then sold for $1500

Nice! I prefer to build PC's myself because I like computers. Do you get the parts cheaper somehow? Maybe I'd buy parts from you? Plus shipping that PC would be wayyy too much.

Been Lurking here for some Time is there any new builds from anyone would love some new ideas for my next build?

Well, after a few years of on-the-go laptop computing needs, I was finally able to find some space and some money and get a small(ish) Micro-ATX for my work, modding and gaming adventures. Prices include 23% sales tax (!).

Desktop Specs and comments:

CPU Intel Core i5-6500 - up to 3.6GHz (Wanted to go skylake as this is a computer who will pass along to another family member in a few years and I'd like to keep the upgrade path very open. The 6500 was a nice compromise of performance and price for my current needs. The 6400 was not much cheaper and didn't justify the loss of performance).

MOBO MSI H170M PRO-VDH (Honestly don't remember quite well. From the options at hand at the time it was the best choice. Don't need anything fancy and it is solid. I am not a fan of the colour (why would you make your component brown?), but looks were not exactly a priority here as you can probably guess). 4 ram slots was nice as it makes it easier to go for 32gb in a 4 or 5 years if need be! haha

GPU Nvidia Gigabyte GTX970 WINDFORCE 3X OC EDITION Got it for a really decent price. The R9 390 was around $50 more expensive at the time and would cost around $30 more a year in power alone (and I'd probably want a more powerful PSU for it). I'm also not planning to play above 1080p for at least a couple years when I upgrade the monitor and GPU.

RAM Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4-2133MHz 2x8GB I'm a massive chromer. With work and modding, having 30+ chrome tabs and several other programs open is not an uncommon event. Felt like it made sense to go for 16gb straight away.

PSU XFX TS 550W 80PLUS Bronze Solid PSU that I got for a fair price.

CASE Cooler Master N200 Discreet, compact and with plenty of room for a very nice price.

STORAGE SanDisk Plus 2.5 SSD 120GB and Western Digital Blue 1TB SATA III 64MB
Final price: around €850 (a couple months ago)

–-----------------

Laptop Specs

Toshiba Satellite L-50-B-1JQ 15.6''

CPU i5 4210u - up to 2.7GHZ

RAM 8GB DDR3 @1600

GPU AMD RADEON R7 M260 - 2GB DDR3

STORAGE 500GB 5400RPM HD

Around €500 (a couple years ago)

–-------

Other assorted things on the Pedrostation:

A 22'' 1080p Syncmaster B2230HD that I've had for a while and actually used as a TV for quite a bit.

A Cooler Master Octane km+mouse combo

A steelseries Qck mousepad.

An Xbox one controller.

Some Overclocked tea.

Seems like great choices for your purpose. The only thing I would have tried to do is get a 240+gb SSD, but it's not a big deal. Enjoy!

Great build Pedro. If shipping was not so bad to your address I would send you a all in one cooler and ssd for the laptop 🙂

Next photo needs to be at least one of the two lcds on realhardwarereviews.com 😉

Welcome to the forum and as your crew always says to me. "May your Temps be low and frame rates high"

Honestly expected a behemoth of a rig for you Pedro. Nonetheless, I can appreciate a clean small rig since I'm running an Arc Mini R2 myself. Welcome to the forums!

And a much bigger desk too…I wish my desk was that clean though...it's a mess thanks to two different electronics projects for starters...

@LPfan4ever:

Very nice… your cable cover needs some bondo 😛

lights look great so does the stand and 2 monitors really cleans it up

you guys, you and your clean rigs and tidy setups… mine is not like that. My case is dirty, my room alittle messy and my pics SUCK. Sorry about that.

Anywho, here is my rig. It is dirty and does not compare to what I have seen in this thread:
3770k at 4.8
Z77 Deluxe
16GB 2400mhz DDR3
MSI 1070 Gaming
Swiftech H320
Haf X
860i
SanDisk 1TB SSD
bunch of HDD
front load Startech hot swap HDD bays
Liteon ihas DVD DL burner

Here is the front of my puter room:
Not sure if people want specs but feel free to ask questions if you like

Here is what I see when I am at my desk:
The desk I made and it is huge.

Rear corner of puter Man Cave:
This is where I have to rigs with wheels 🙂

And if anyone cares here is what my wife uses to browse the internet 🙂

4930k
X79 sabertooth
32GB 1600mhz DDR3
MSI GTX 980 gaming 4G
Haf XB
760i
H110
R7 SSD
front load Startech hot swap HDD bays

My post may be out of place in this thread but so be it I guess. This is what my room looks like day to day…

Dude your Man cave is epic, wish I could have a space like that.

Rigs looks great and love the TV above the rig.

Some things I have to note for epicness, Your coaster GPU 😄 , The trampoline is great in there to but really love your setups they look great 😄 good job

Hey thanks! The room is 18'X18' and it is full :). It has taken years of careful spending to fill it.

If you like the trampoline then I should mention the one corner not shown in my post has a 80lb heavy bag and a chin up bar.

Cheers
